- We started the day with Breakfast at the Cafe “Margaritari” at Skala Eresos beach, relaxing place creative white decorations and flowers try to get the corners with couches overlooking to the sea.
- After visiting harbor and harbor church of Skala Eressos,
- (Sun) bathing at Skala Eresos beach
- Visiting Ipsilou monastery on the way to Sigri. Monastry offers a great view across the southwest peninsula of Lesbos. Turkish tiles on the walls of the church. Cosy atmosphere in the courtyard of the monastery.
- Sigri: very windy – refreshing. Great view on the bay on the way down from Ipsilou monastery. Several nice little restaurants, old castle, old (military ?) harbor. Remaining found of what we consider a former Turkish bath. Windmill. Petrified forest museum. Church/former mosque.
- Lunch at Restaurant “Australia” (phone +30 22530 54227), close to the harbor. Fresh grilled fish, “Sigri” Greek salad, tsasiki … lekker …
- Enjoy sundown at the castle.
- Enjoying great 4th year wedding anniversary dinner at Soulatsos restaurant at Skala Eresos. Great salad, fish egg salad, grilled octopus and grilled stuffed squid. Wine from Limnos.
